daystar Renewable Energy
Daystar Renewable Energy is a proposed project of up to 100-megawatt solar and 100-megawatt Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) on approximately 900 acres of privately owned land in Whitman County, Washington. This project has the potential to become operational in 2026, offering long-lasting economic benefits to taxpayers, school districts, and the local government.
By partnering energy storage with solar generation at Daystar Renewable Energy, the project will store extra solar power generated when demand is low to use when demand for energy increases, which will help provide affordable, reliable energy when it’s needed most.
A STRONGER ECONOMY IN Whitman county
Daystar Renewable Energy will bring in millions of dollars to the local community over the life of the project. The project will improve the local electrical infrastructure and generate a new source of revenue that supports the most essential elements of the community, including schools, infrastructure, and local government.
